Yes, everybody tells you Namibia is a comparably rich country... but would you expect to have wifi and a hot rainfall shower on a campsite? Well, this is us sitting at Daan Viljoen Nationalpark with our vehicle for the next 30 days (a Toyota Hilux) and a rooftop tent. The Nationalpark itself is too close to Windhoek for most tourists to make a stopover. But what tempted us was the fact that no predators are known in this area, so we could actually walk around for 2.5 hours and see lots of kudus, oryx and other antelopes... our only reference so far are the banknotes of Namibia which state the biggest antelopes ;-)
Apart from a tame warthog the campsite is relatively quiet. But unfortunately there is not much to do after dark, so it will be an early one and lots of reading...

Hope that also lions and crocodiles consider that "no predators are known in this area"! :-)
